So, this time I'm keeping it short. An admin who goes by the handle RealitySquared has gone on a witch hunt against fanart depicting anything he considers erotic which is based on manga and anime characters who have been shown as underaged in canon even if they have also been shown as adults towards the end of the series because he believes that all comics and animated stuff are for kids and using such material as inspiration for erotica is sick.
Here, let him explain:
To that end he has deleted work by a couple of my favorite artists even though the characters are of age in canon and were drawn to look that way. One had no erotic content at all, it was just two guys hugging. The others had only mild erotic content, no sex and just a hint of nudity. He has answered all attempts to discuss the matter via email with pretty much the same attitude he displays in his blog entry.
So, as a paying customer of the site who is sick of the abuse he has directed towards her in private messages and towards all fandom in his blog cyperian</lj> has been in communication with someone more highly placed at DA and is putting together a formal complaint against RealitySquared for his unprofessional behavior.
If you have anything to contribute to the case against him or just want to add your name to the list of those outraged by his actions, then please read this and contact her.
If you feel strongly about censorship then please pass the word about this effort.
To give you an example of what is being labeled child pornography by this guy here are links to some of the pictures that are also up at other sites. You will probably have to register to view them. None of them show sex or children but there is is a bare breast in one.

I tried to find the guys hugging one to show the homophobia involved in labeling it erotica but I couldn't find a link. It's by Zardra and I thought she had it at Y!Gallery but if she does I can't find it.
The idea that he is using the child porn label for works like these in order to sweep aside opposition to his policy enrages me because it callously uses the pain of real children and the honest disgust most have for their exploitation as a way to avoid real discussion on the issue. Meanwhile reports to his team about models in explicit photos who are underaged by someone who knows the models were not acted on according to one poster who responded to his blog entry.
