I'll confess right now to never, ever watching Dr. Who, but those vintage clips were GREAT! The 60's special effects! The 70's hair! Whee!

You know of course that if it weren't for the fact that we are separated by an entire dang continent I'd be at your house with a stack of DVDs right after work on Friday. It would be a moral imperative.

That would be awesomely cool if you/we could.

I never got into Red Dwarf, either, but I loooove Black Adder.

Black Adder is one of the best series ever! Season 2 is my favorite.

Yep, yep, yep! Atkinson was at his snarkily devious best in season 2. 3 is okay, but I mainly watch it for pre-House Hugh Laurie. His turn as the Prince Regent is also the reason why I can't watch House. I keep superimposing wigs, rouge, knee breeches and an upper-crust accent on the cranky doctor.

Did you ever see Laurie in Jeeves & Wooster with Stephen Fry as the sarcastically efficient butler? Another very good reason why I have trouble seeing him as a srs dramatik aktr.

Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry were perfectly cast in Jeeves & Wooster.

I've never seen a single episode of House but I love House fanfic. Since I don't have the visual of Laurie I don't have a problem with suddenly seeing House as anyone but House.

Stephen Fry was like the third or fourth person I followed on Twitter.
